Alistair Tucker lives on the Wirral. He has a BA(hons) Degree in Fine Art, a PGCE and is currently Head of Art at The Queen's School in Chester.
He has exhibited across the UK.
Alistair's work is based upon the British landscape; its shape and form and the effects of the weather and light upon it.
He describes the landscape as always changing depending upon the weather or the season.
I predominantly use the medium of pen and ink with the detail and the building up of shadows and depth with straight lines”. The actual sizes of the pictures vary enormously. They all, however, no matter how large or small, contain the same singularly detailed and minute focused attention that I feel has become my hallmark.
